  1. Hi Marie,

This is so true. Thanks for the Facebook resources. I’ve sent requests to join the groups. Let me know if I can return the favor. I’d be glad to help. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m thrilled to have found your blog!

    • Oh thank you! I will be getting on Facebook here in a bit to accept your request to For The Love of Bloggers since I am the admin to that group. I have yet to get on FB today because I have been running around like crazy! Also, I looked at your site and I have never heard of Peach but I am in looooove with the idea and I really think my readers would be to. I was wondering if you would like to do a guest post on my blog about Peach? If so, email me at marie@togiveandget.com so we can talk about it further. Thank you for being fan!

        • Ok I will be going through my emails today. The 24 hour stomach flu bug decided to grace us with it’s presence the other day and I am just now bouncing back. I can’t catch a break in 2017 with sicknesses!

  2. I love this. I just started my blog, thecoffeemom.net about a month ago and I have found that other bloggers and FB groups are extremely helpful. I have found most bloggers I have come in contact with are more than willing to be helpful. It really is a great community. Everyone wants to see others succeed.

    • Exactly! I’m only a year in and I am all self taught by free resources from other bloggers! I will for sure check out your site and return the love once this cold is gone. I haven’t felt like doing anything for a few days now.

  3. Exactly! I do get a little miffed at the unwillingness to help in some Facebook groups though ๐Ÿ™ When someone shares their incomes or their great success, they feel very protective about how they accomplished it! It all feels very sneaky and secretive, and you’re kinda like “what? help me out girl! how’d you do it?!” lol – I think we can all learn from each other and should help each other out! I’m part of two of those groups and they are definitely fabulous! Going to check out the others now!

    • I totally understand where you are coming from on the vagueness of some peoples information. My whole site was built on self taught research through other bloggers and it really is the best information out there because we all had to start somewhere! You just have to weed through the bad and the good.

  4. This was a great post! I am a very new blogger, one day I think I have it figured out, and the next day I am googling acronyms and widgets and plug ins because I have no clue what they are! I’ve found the blogging world to be so helpful and friendly which is so refreshing…because I’m going to need A LOT of help!

    • Girl me too! I am a self taught blogger. This whole site was built on information other bloggers put out there. While it still needs work, it has come pretty far in only a year time from just using free info from other bloggers and not paying for anything.
